CICE is a center accredited by EAGS and ESGE for European certification
What is the European Gynecological Endoscopy Certification (GESEA program)? It is an educational program developed by the European Academy of Gynecological Surgery (EAGS) and the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE). It has been with the partnership of university experts in endoscopic surgery. Its objective is to certify your theoretical knowledge and your technical skills according to 3 levels (bachelor, minimally invasive surgeon, expert pelvic surgeon). It therefore includes a theoretical test based on QCMs (TESTT) and a practical test based on different modules (LASTT, SUTT, HYSTT). The exercises of the practical test have been validated scientifically, from a pedagogical point of view, by different works and several scientific publications. This certification, including the minimum technical skills for a surgeon, so often evoked in the past, is materializing today. This program has been validated by major European learned societies (ESRHE, EBCOG, ENTOG, ESGE) and approved by North American companies (ACOG, AAGL). Until now, it was only possible to pass this certification at the ESGE annual congress or at the EAGS.
